Updates by bet365 - El Clásico and a new desktop website
Watch Barcelona - Real Madrid
There are only two days to go until the first El Clásico of the season, with Barcelona hosting Real Madrid at the Camp Nou on Saturday.
This fixture is always eagerly-anticipated and is sure to attract plenty of betting activity. The two sides currently occupy the top two spots in La Liga and Barcelona will be desperate to secure a victory on Saturday to close the gap on their arch-rivals to just 3 points. bet365 has priced Barca as a favorite for the 3 points with odds 1.85 while the win of Real Madrid pays at 3.75. More than 80 markets are available for the game, the Bore Draw Money Back, Euro Soccer Bonus and Each-Way First Goalscorers offers are also applicable to El Clásico.
As with all La Liga fixtures, bet365 will be live streaming
the game for all countries with some few exceptions.
New HTML5 website
Meanwhile bet365 released a new HTML5 version of its desktop sports website to replace the current Flash version. The new design is similar to the mobile and will provide more continuity for customers when they use bet365 across different devices.
One notable change will see the My Bets section replace Financials in the site header and become available once the customer has logged in. The My Bets page will have the same functionality as currently displayed on the bet slip; however it utilises a far larger screen area making it easier for the customer to manage their bets and use site features such as Cash Out, especially when they have placed a large volume of bets.
The Live In-Play coupon on the Sports Home Page will group In-Play events by competition which increases the ease of navigation, especially when there is a large volume of In-Play events, by allowing customers to collapse and ignore competitions they are not interested in. This same grouping functionality will also be applied to the In-Play fixture lists used in the left and right-hand fixture columns on the In-Play page and pre-match coupons.
In-Play Overview will use a horizontal scroll bar to allow customers to select a particular sport or their favourites. Customers can then filter by all In-Play events or just those with available Live Streaming. The In-Play Schedule will be driven by sport rather than date. For example, if a customer selects Soccer from the top of the In-Play Schedule, they will be shown all Soccer fixtures that we are scheduled to cover In-Play that week.
