Crawley Town are entertaining top of the table Cheltenham Town and both teams are sitting in the top 4, so this promises to be an exciting encounter.

 

Cheltenham start this game in top spot, and also top of the form guide with 4 wins in their last 5 games, and 4 wins and a draw in their last 5 games away from home. The confidence that this side has had in recent weeks. The gap between the 2 sides have narrowed down to just the game in hand that Crawley has, else the two teams are battling for the same spot in the league, the top spot. Manager Mark Yates has done a good match with the absence of Elliot, his top defender, and Keith Lowe has replaced him quite well. Their defensive efforts is what has helped them stay stable and consistent at the top of the table. While the team do not have a dominant scorer, the team effort has helped them progress so far, where they have been able to avoid cracking under pressure.

 

Crawley have had a string of games away from home, where they played 3 on the road and drawn on all 3 games. Key Striker Matt Tubbs has moved on to Bournemouth, which have given manager Steve Evans something to think about, as he calls on his new signings Billy Clarke and Karl Hawley to stand in up front. Crawley have been done well at home, but the absence of Tubbs will be vital, as no other player has been able to step up to the game to take his place.

 

This will be a tight game as both sides need to push on for a win, but I just feel Cheltenham can hold on for a draw at worse to grab the points in this one.
