Malaga started the season with big ambitions, but are failing to fullfill them. They are still in the race for the fourth spot that leads into the Champions League quals. Forth placed Levante and Espanyol have 4 points more than Malaga, but it seems that the race will be be among Atletico Madrid, Malaga and Athletic Bilbao. Valencia looks safe at the third place and Real and Barca are untouchable.
Malaga has very good squad. Cazorla, Toulalan, Maresca, Rondon, Van Nistelrooy, Duda, Baptista, Mathijsen, Demichelis, Buonanote, Joaquin are names who should guarantee good season, but maybe they're still not grown up as a team. Only Julio Baptista, Joaquin and Isco are unavaible for the match, but Malaga has many players and it should not be a big problem.
Granada is one of the top favorites for relegation. They are 18th and hope to get points from the home matches which should be enough for salvation, but Malaga is tough opponent and it won't be easy. The table is interesting and the difference in points between the team that hold a Europe League place and the teams that is in the relegation zone is only 8 points, so everything is possible.
In this match, the fact that Malaga plays bat away from home don't change my mind about this match. They are better team than Granada and i expect to show it on the field. I think that the win against Sevilla in the previous match after the bad period is a turning point for the season. For insurance, i won't pick clear away win, but DNB. I can't imagine Malaga losing here.
