Borussia M:
M.ter Stegen - Jantschke, Brouwers, Dante, Daems - Nordtveit, Neustädter - Herrmann, Arango - Reus, Hanke

I believe this is gonna be a low efficient match. There is three reasons for my pick. First of all, the bad weather. It is very cold in Germany, the pitch will most probably be frozen and the players will have problem to control the ball. We can't expect something special in situation like this. In the similar circumstances, both team played not efficient matches this weekend. Hertha lost 0:1 from Hannover, while Gladbach played a goalless draw with Wolfsburg.

The second reason for my pick is connect with the absences in the home team. The coach Michael Skibbe will be missing Lell, Franz and Morales due to injuries, while Ramos and Niemeyer are doubtful. On other side Gladbach coach Favre has almost all players available.

Finally, this match is not important for Hertha. They are just two points clear of relegation zone and I think coach Skibbe thinks more about Bundesliga then cup. At this point I will also mention that the last mutual match played in Berlin on 23.01.2010 ended with Under 2.5 goals. In fact, that match ended with goalless draw.
