Marlins are severely underestimated here against a Nationals team that hasn't impressed me much so far.
The pitching matchup is 50-50, maybe leaning towards the Marlins a bit. The Marlins are sending Koehler, who won't shine but will give them 170+ innings pitched for the season. He went 11-14 last season with 4.08 ERA. He looked sharp this spring, throwing 13.1 innings, 6 earned runs, 5 walks and 9 strikeouts. He allowed no homerun in that stretch. Washingotn are starting Ross, who was a 5-5, 3.64 ERA pitcher last year in 75+ innings of work. He had a slightly worse spring than Koehler, allowing 11 runs in 14.2 IP, with 3 homeruns.
The offenses matchup nicely, with the Marlins being able to spread the threat while the Nats will try and get as much offensive production from the 2, 3 and 4 slot (Rendon, Harper and Murphy). With the current form against RHP the top 5 Nats have shown i am fully confidednt the Marlins are in with a chance. Taylor is 0 of 9, Rendon 2 of 11, Harper 3 of 9, Murphy 1 of 8 and Werth is 0 of 10 against right handers so far this season.
