Roulette
Roulette is a simple and fun game that has a wheel, a ball and a table marked with separate boxes containing numbers in non-sequential order. The player places bets on one or more numbers, the ball is released in the opposite direction of the spinning wheel and when it stops on one of player's backed numbers he wins. To obtain a good result, one of the most important thing in Roulette is to have a solid game strategy.
There are two common types of roulette - American Roulette and European Roulette. The main differences between the 2 are the numbers on the wheels and the types of bets you can place. American Roulette has both a single zero ("0") and a double zero ("00"), while European Roulette only has a single zero ("0").
European Roulette consists of a wheel with 37 stops and a ball that can land with equal chance on any of the 37 stops. The stops are numbered in non-sequential order 0 and then 1-36. The stops 1-36 are colored either black or red and the "0" stop is colored green. There are many types of bets in European Roulette. By placing the chips differently or choosing a neighbor or special bet, the player can bet on 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 12, 17 or 18 numbers. Popular bets as red / black, even / odd, 1-18 / 19-36 all pay at odds 2.00. Bets on "columns" and "dozens" pay at 3.00, those on single number (including zero) at 36.00.
Slots
Slot machine, fruit machine, puggy or simply the slots - this game has dozens of names as far as it is hugely popular among players. In fact, the majority of players go in for slots as their first casino experience. The reason of such popularity is that it is extremely easy to play slots - all you need to do is to push the button. There is no need to have any interaction with other players or dealers - just you and the slots. Moreover, the greatest jackpots in the casino are usually won on such machines. While it does can take some luck, players can win a huge jackpots in games such as Mega Moolah, The dark knight and much more.
The main aim of the game is to win over the machine. The game usually revolves around matching symbols on the reels and stops at the particular moment. The most common symbols are images of fruits, letters or numbers as well as some other pictures, all brightly colored and easily recognizable even by those who have never visited casino. Lots of modern video slots also use some pictures from popular movies or portraits of some TV stars and singers.
There is at least one possible combination which brings a gain to the player, called the payline. As a rule, when one plays slots online, there are two buttons to push. The first one is for choosing the number of paylines which should be activated and the second one is for the number of credits which are bet for each line. It means that for each of the nine paylines, for instance, the player should wager 1 to 5 credits.
Traditional reel-spinning machines had only one payline displayed on the machine itself. Nowadays they have three or sometimes even five paylines. However, the video slots went even further. First of all, paylines now go not only in straight lines - some run in zigs and zags as well as V's - both ordinary and upside down. What is more, the number of paylines goes far beyond 5. There are 15, 20, 25 and sometimes even up to 50 paylines, all increasing the chances to win.
Blackjack
Blackjack, also known as twenty-one, is the most widely played casino banking game in the world. Blackjack is a comparing card game between a player and dealer and played with one or more decks of 52 cards.
The player or players are dealt an initial two card hand and add the total of their cards. Face cards (Kings, Queens, and Jacks) are counted as ten points. The player and dealer can count their own Ace as 1-point or 11 points. All other cards are counted as the numeric value shown on the card. After receiving their initial two cards, players have the option of getting a "hit" (taking additional cards) to bring their total value of cards to 21 points, or as close as possible without exceeding 21 (called "busting"). The dealer has to take hits until his cards total 17 or more points. If his initial two cards equal 17, the dealer does not take a hit. Players who do not bust and have a total higher than the dealer, win. The dealer will lose if he or she busts, or has a lesser hand than the player who has not busted. If the player and dealer have the same point total, this is called a "push" and the player typically doesn't win or lose money on that hand. Wins are paid out at 1:1 (odds 2.00), equal to the bet, except for winning blackjacks (any hand of an ace plus a ten or face card, regardless of suits or colours), which are traditionally paid at 3:2 (meaning the player receives three dollars for every two bet), or one and a half times the bet.
Player decisions - once getting his first 2 card dealt the player must choose whether to "hit" (take another card), "stand" (end their turn), "double" (double wager, take a single card and finish), "split" (if the two cards have the same value, separate them to make two hands) or "surrender" (give up a half-bet and retire).
