NFC Championship match between the San Francisco 49ers and the Philadelphia Eagles.
49ers have a 12-4 record this season, 5-3 away. They won against Seattle and Dallas to reach the NFC Championship. One game left to reach the Super Bowl. Everybody thinked their season was over when Jimmy Garoppolo sprained his ankle and was out for the season but Brock Purdy, the second QB, "Mr Irrelevant" took over to became a superstar. Even if Jimmy G returns now, I don't think he will start. That's a typical Hollywood's story that Americans like. 49ers have the best defense in the league with Warner, Bosa and Greenlaw, RB duo McCaffrey-Mitchell is impressive, TE Kittle is probably the best in the league, WR duo Samuel-Aiyuk are high level receivers.
They won 12 matches in a row, confidence is high, coach Kyle Shanahan is smart and he has the experience of winning, he reached the Super Bowl in 2019.
Very tight game of course, but Im going with SF here, because they are a destructive machine right now, they have the better coach, the better defense, and they are pushed by this mister Irrelevant story. Will be super noisy and cold in Philly, Jalen Hurts is a good QB, but at the end I think the 49ers are a better overall team. Odds is value as underdog.
