Pioli's side will be looking to bounce back after a shock defeat to an improving Juventus side. The home side's coach has a dismal record against Allegri, with the two coaches facing each other a total of 15 times, with Allegri always coming out on top.
Milan: Simon Kjaer and Fikayo Tomori are out injured, while Franck Kessie and Fode Ballo-Toure are away at the Africa Cup. Good news is that Alessio Romagnoli, Davide Calabria and Ismael Bennacer have recovered, while Tonali has served his ban.
Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Kalulu, Romagnoli, Theo; Tonali, Krunic; Messias, Diaz, Leao; Ibrahimovic
Juventus: Ramsey has tested negative but the Welshman is not in Allegri's plans, with the Welsh midfielder reportedly moving to Palace. The other absentee will be Bonucci, he remains injured. Chiesa's season is off.
I feel Juventus are slightly the favourites, as Allegri finally has almost the full squad available, while Pioli still has some important absentees. That said, Milan have not played well at home in the group stage. Draw against Inter, defeat against Napoli, while only Roma were knocked out.
As a Juventus fan, I was quite sceptical about January, but I think the team is doing quite well this month. It will depend on small things, I'd like to see Dyabal as a leader today, it would be nice to see his technical ability come out in competitive games.
I expect a Juventus win !!!
