SC Heerenveen lost their first game against Ajax (1-0) but played after this game a draw against FC Utrecht (1-1) and scored four goals against NAC Breda (4-0). So Heerenveen is the number 10 in Eredivisie. They played good and attacking football with their new coach Robin van Persie. Striker Nicolaescu scored against NAC Breda his first 2 goals of the season. Last season he scored 5 goals in 19 games. Only Amara Conde is out with an injury.

AZ won just 1 of their last 3 head to head games against Heerenveen. AZ won just 10 of 27 games against Heerenveen and I expect a difficult game here for AZ. Heerenveen played good last games and playing fresh football. Last season Pavlidis scored a hattrick for AZ (3-0) but he is missing in Alkmaar because Parrott didn’t score much goals and this is a big problem for them so far. So I don’t see AZ win here with a big score and maybe Heerenveen can surprise with a draw here.
