Troubles in paradise. PSV could reach the 2^nd place last weekend if they won at home against SC Heerenveen but this game ended in a 3-3 draw. So they need 1 or 3 points against AZ to stay on the 2^nd place. Ajax is 3 points behind PSV and AZ is the number 4 with 2 points behind Ajax. So AZ needs a win at home to reach the number 3 place. Ajax is playing against FC Twente away so they have also a difficult game on the last round.

AZ won last weekend with 0-3 against NEC Nijmegen and played a very good game. After the 0-1 defeat against West Ham they are doing some good business. If they win against PSV and FC Twente wins against Ajax than AZ is the number 3 and playing Europa League football. Karlsson and Clasie played a very good game.

PSV will play this last game without his trainer Ruud van Nistelrooy. He stopped last Wednesday as coach because 6 players said they have problems with this coach. So assistant Fred Rutten will be the coach for the last game. Sangare and Simons were very mad about this decision. Goalkeeper Walter Benitez said he wants also to leave at the end of the season so after this last game PSV will start a new team with new coaches. A lot of problems but are the players motivated for this last game? I think the value here is on AZ because they are playing at home and are in good shape. PSV is struggling against Fortuna Sittard (2-1) and SC Heerenveen (3-3) and the defense is very bad. So I see AZ win here.
