Ajax - Feyenoord    (won)

Ajax won eventually in injury time with 1-0 due to a deflected shot by Mazraoui. I think overall they were more dangerous, but Benfica played their best match in the CL this season and perhaps deserved more.

Had also to do with Ajax as they did not played at their best. Especially in the build up a lot of simple mistakes. Against Bayern Munich they played much better.

Now the next big match, indeed, it is ''De Klassieker'', the biggest match in the Netherlands.

Of course, PSV - AJax is much bigger quality wise, but these two go way back. There is tremendous rivalry between these teams and there have been a lot of battles between both fan bases with people ending dead. Yes they really hate each other.

The last time Feyenoord won in Amsterdam was in 2005-2006 by a goal of Kalou. I think they will be in trouble once more since Ajax has a better player on every position. Robin Van Persie is playing well, but not much behind him. Jorgensen is their best striker still, but he was out for a long time and far from 100%. Berghuis is playing really well though for a while now. Vilhena is a pittbull on midfield but Clasie is not like frenkie De jong that plays all balls forwards. No important missings for Feyenoord for now.

They come from a 3-0 win against PEC, but Zwolle played even better in the second half for most part.

Seems like all Ajax players came out healthy of the Benfica game.

Opening odds were a big mistake but i made a mistake of waiting too long as well. I am not 100% sure about the -1.5 hcp so will go for this handi instead.

Don't be fooled by the standings as the difference between these two teams is enormous. Ajax and PSV are far ahead of any other team in this competition. If feyenoord will not get a new stadium and hence more money, the distance will be even bigger in the future. Anything but an Ajax win would be a big suprise. If Ajax will storm early, things could get very ugly for the guests.
