Albirex Niigata had it easy in recent seasons to win the title in Singapore. They lost last round from 2-0 early ahead at Lion City with 3-2 in the end. But on the bright side the game had 5 goals in it. Saw them win in the start of this season with 6-1 away at Balestier Khalsa, they had the lead 4-0 from the first half, and really did not trouble themselves all that much in scoring two more goals in the second half.
Balestier Khalsa is in better form right now compared to the start of this season. They have won 3 games in a row and 4 of their last 5 games, as they do have foreign players, mainly from Japan in attack, actually ex-Albirex strikers. They won 3-2 against Tampines and DPMM, also 4-2 with Tanjong Pagar their last three games, also have a 3-1 win with Young Lions and a 3-0 loss at Geylang in their last 5 fixtures, quite awful defending but they did score 10 goals in their recent 3 games, so I back over 4.5 goals expecting a good game.
