Almeria come in to this game still struggling with injuries - star striker Sadiq (19 apps, 8 goals) featured in Nigeria's final game of AfCon yesterday so won't be back in time for this game. Since he's been gone Almeria have struggled in the league losing at home to mid-table Cartagena, and drawing and losing away at Las Palmas & Lugo. As a result of this poor start to 2022 Eibar are now only 3 points behind Almeria so a win here would take them level top. With Stoichkov (22 apps, 11 goals) & Edu Exposito (22 apps, 6 goals), and Jose Corpas (22 apps, 5 goals) they have a very solid attacking midfield line-up that supports the decent attacking options of Fran Sol, Blanco, Quique Gonzalez, and Llorente. I think with Sadiq's goals still missing for Almeria, Eibar can at least match Almeria and get a draw if not scrape a 1-0 or 2-1 win.
