Arsenal and Chelsea could well be the two teams battling it out for the title this season.
Arsenal look more than capable of defending their crown. They already have a well-established squad that has performed consistently well, and in my opinion, Arteta has managed to improve the team even further. Chelsea, meanwhile, are a side I expect to take a big step forward under Xabi Alonso compared to what we've seen from them in recent seasons.
With João Pedro, Palmer and Rogers leading the attack, Chelsea have plenty of firepower going forward. The rest of the squad has also been strengthened, with some less familiar names who impressed at their previous clubs and could make a real impact this season.
Arsenal have had the upper hand over Chelsea in recent years. Last season, their Premier League meetings ended 1-1 and 2-1, with Arsenal winning the latter. They also met twice in the EFL Cup, with Arsenal winning both games, 3-2 and 1-0.
I expect both teams to get on the scoresheet here. Arsenal are already a settled side and look more than capable of challenging for the Premier League title again while competing strongly against every team in the division.
Chelsea, on the other hand, still have to adapt to their new manager and his tactical ideas. The defensive side of the game will probably take longer to come together, but there is no question about their ability to score goals.
Chelsea have already shown that attacking potential in their three competitive games this season, beating Fulham 3-2 and Brighton 4-3 in the Premier League, before a 2-0 win over Luton in the EFL Cup.
