The last season was very successful for Bilbao. They
ended their 40-year wait for Copa del Rey glory, while finished on the
fifth position in La Liga. Coach Ernesto Valverde stayed in the club, as
well as the key player Nico Williams.
According
to me, Getafe are weaker than last season. Mason Greenwood, Ilaix
Moriba, Oscar Rodriguez, Jose Angel Carmona, Daniel Fuzato and Juanmi
Latasa have all left the club following their loan spells, while Enes
Unal, Anthony Lozano, Jaime Mata and Nemanja Maksimovic have left on a
permanent basis. The question is simple, "how important they are?" Well,
seven of them are very important:
Attackers:
Greenwood has played 33 matches and scored 8 goals.
Jaime Mata, 35 matches 5 goals.
Juanmi Latasa 32 matches 2 goals
Midfield:
Oscar Rodriguez 24 matches, 2 goals
Maksimovic 37 matches, 4 goals
Moriba 14 matches
Defense:
Jose Angel Carmona 30 matches, 1 goal
Somebody
may argue that new players arrived and that's true - Jiri Letacek, Alex
Sola, Peter Federico, Chrisantus Uche, Carles Perez and Diego Rico are
the summer acquisitions. However, my opinion is they need some time for
acclimatization.
