     I believe the hosts have more quality in their squad than the Germans and also more experience playing in the Champions League losing two finals to Real Madrid if I remember correctly, and since Simeone is coach here they have never failed to make it out of  the group stage of this competition, while Bayer even lost at home to Lokomotiv Moscow while in their second game they were given little chances away at Juventus and ended up losing the game 3-0 in the end, they should struggle here even though they have a good passing game problem is their defense when put under pressure cracks like in their last league game just a few days ago at Frankfurt where they lost 3-0 the game or at Dortmund where they did not even pose much of a problem in attack and conceded 4 times losing the game 4-0, while Atletico is of course taking this competition very seriously and would want nothing but a clear win here in this fixture at home against the Germans to cement their place in the last 16 of the competition after drawing 2-2 at home with Juventus and winning 2-0 in Russia at Lokomotiv Moscow so will back Atletico to win this game here even by 2 goals difference or more.
