Bergs V Dimitrov
(won)
Whether Dimitrov is fully fit will drasticly impact the outcome of this match, however even if he is (which I truly doubt) Bergs can put heavy resistance here. He is kinda interesting player, still trying to figure him out, but what I noticed is that he tends to bring not his A but A+ game every time he encounters higher ranked oponent. True, he is yet to write his name on the scoreboard vs TOP 20, but from 8 matches he managed to take at least a set 6x which is very usefull stat to back this bet. That on the side, Dimitrov still has that hammstring problem which he drags from USO (had to retire vs Tiafoe), than he played Laver Cup and some exibition in Sofia with Joker, but let's not forget the fact that are what I just said - exibitions. His withdrawal from Bejing last week raised concerns of his hammstring condition and going into this clash vs Bergs who already smoked homeboy Zhang could be an issue. Shanghai is slower this year as I mentioned, the balls wear off pretty fast and Bergs favours the conditions. I think Zizou will have the right strategy in play, last time he noticed the right one but it was a bit late. Doesn't afraid to come to the net which combined with attacking Grishas backhand can be the path to creating chaos on Bulgarian's side of the court. I would even try ML on some middle stake, but set seems like a really good bet here.
