Game 5, Miami leads 3 wins to 1. So it's s match point for the guests, to possibly win and thus to secure its place in the Great NBA finals where the Denver Nuggets are already awaiting.
IMO the Heat will need to wait a little bit. I mean this series is back to Miami, the Celtics wins tonight.
It's true Miami was far better team in this series, at least they were by far better coached team. But after missing the chance in G4 to sweep the Celtics, the things start to be interesting here.
Boston finally in the second half of previous game looked like that team from regular season. And now with momentum from G4, I expect another good game for Boston. This is still not enough for me to fully trust to Boston on this big spread (-8.5 pts tonight) but I'm leaning in that direction. I wouldn't be surprised if Heat let this game down the water if things don't start in their direction.
In any case, I'm skipping spread option and I'm going with Boston Celtics Team Totals Over.
Boston is averaging 110 pts per game in the four so far meetings of this series. But all that with pretty modest performance till G4 second half. That being said, I feel they could cover this number comfortably on this occasion if enter G5 on the wings of high confidence after won G4.
Gabe Vincent for Miami Heat has been downgraded to out for
this G5. He is a player whose absence could lead to certain problems defensively for the guests.
