Budućnost - Khimki (lost)

Compared with initial, the odds are dropping big time in favour of Khimki. That's good cause IMO Buducnost is the right pick.

The host obviously is not any more among weakest teams in EL. Not just Gran Canaria and Darussafaka but I feel there are now few more from whom Buducnost is better. Champion of Montenegro improved a lot lately after singing couple new very good players and after brought Repesa for coach although he is not looking too trustful. Last round Buducnost was demolished but it was on the road and against CSKA who is one of best in EL. Of course Russian team played on high level for all 40 minutes cause they wanted to payback for loss in Podgorica earlier in the season. CSKA wasn't the only big name that failed here in Montenegro. Also Real Madrid, Barcelona, Baskonia, they all suffered defeats here.

I expect good game from host today. In the meantime they have had easy task in ABA when here demolished Mornar without too much wasted energy.

Khimki is just terrible lately. They are without their best player Shved for last 12 games in EL. Somehow they managed to go through without him with 5-7 record but seems they finally have remained without gas. First of all I mean on offense. This team is averaging barely 60 pts in last four EL games and situation didn't change either after they replaced the head coach and brought legendary Rimas Kurtinaitis. They are 1-1 in EL in these last two games with Kurtinaitis but those were both terrible games for Khimki if you ask me. Both were at home. Against Bayern it was something like +20 in the first quarter but in rest three quarters Khimki has scored barely 30 points in total and easily lost by double digits. Against Zalgiris it was opposite. Very poor start, Zalgiris was controling the game but then complete collapse by the Lithuanian team in the final quarter and Khimki took the win. Now in the first road EL game with Kurtinaitis, I don't see good chances for Khimki.

BTW, the mentioned Shved has started with practice. Though, his first training was interrupted due to fake bomb alert. In any case, he wasn't planned to play today in Podgorica by the latest news. He should start in the next VTB league game.

As mentioned, the odds are dropping on away side. So, this might be better to bet later and possibly to take point or two more on Buducnost but IMO +1.5 is enough cause I expect home win.
