World Championship - QF
Odds are still good here, so let's give it a shot!
I think that both teams have been like "under performing" so far in this tournament, thinking that these two nations were 1st and 2nd in odds to win outright. Still I have some good "vibes" now from Finland team after last game, and in this stage. Yes this is the so called " 3 steps" now, which means you have to win 3 games for the gold, AND our nation has been THE BEST team in that aspect in recent years in the world.
Of course we need top goaltending from Larmi today between the pipes, because lot of SOG coming - like usual from NA teams. Still we won better Canadien side last year here, when we had worse team on paper, BUT the same core of the team like this year. Canadiens were also much better coached back than under Claude Julien. Now what I have seen from this Canadien team, like against Swiss, imo they are not that strong team this year, and also goaltending is not in the top level.
Couple things we need to like improve and "adjust" our game is playing against these NA sides, like against US earlier when we did not have good game. We need to move puck faster from own end to offensive zone, so that Canadiens high pressing and forechecking dont do damage, like US did against us. It's always the same when playing against north americans.
I have a good feeling from tonight.
