Almost every Cape Verdean I know is going ham on this game, and I do not disagree, as I circled this game a while ago as well.
This Bermuda team consists mostly of semi-pros, with a full pro here and there who play in England (National League), Finland, or even Suriname. I saw Bermuda losing 7-0 to Curacao, a team of around the same quality as Cape Verde (and maybe even slightly worse than Cape Verde imo).
Cape Verde defeated Serbia 3-0 just a few days ago. Their national team has solid players with 6 guys born in Rotterdam: Duarte (Puskas), Monteiro (PEC Zwolle), Rodriques (Appolon), Cabral (Benfica), Livramento (Casia Pia), and the brothers Laros, while they have players from Romania, Portugal, and Spain (Villareal) as well.
Although Serbia is not the best national team in the world right now, they are still on another level compared to this team from Bermuda.
This game will be played in the US. (East Hartford)
Even with some rotations, I think Cape Verde should whoop their opponent here as the odds keep dropping. I think they picked their perfect opponent in order to gain some trust against the big game against Spain. This one depends on the home team, really, on how many they are willing to score.
