If Waregem don't win I will stop embarrassing myself with picks on this corrupted league, especially the fixiest fixers Cercle Brugge.
The reverse game between these was an absolute hoax. Waregem were set as favorites and turned to dogs (2.20 -> 3.00) for no obvious reason, especially as they were leading 2-0 in the 65th minute but losing 2-4 at the end gave the answer why.
Taking a number of wins and some donated points back (as against Eupen) Cercle are not urged at the moment unlike Waregem who are just over the red line - even winning their last 2 games vs Standard and Mechelen at the end of 2021 still needing to dig hard.
This is first game for Waregem in 2022, the previous one vs Oostende was postponed for covid but all players are cleared now (except the long-term injured Sormo and Sissako). Nobody left the team in the break meanwhile two new pedigree signings were made (Dion Cools and Timothy Derijck) who can possibly feature in this game.
Cercle Brugge also with no squad issues or updates, just Utkus is still out.
The market is on Cercle Brugge until now but I try it different. Even ignoring all said above the material gap between both sides is not so big, odds are huge.
