Newcastle have had a very good season, a CL spot is guaranteed. Chelsea, on the other hand, have had a terrible season and are in 12th place. They have also suffered a few defeats recently, a big one by United for example. They have 16 defeats, while Newcastle have very few, only 5!!!! More than three times as many defeats for the Blues! Not much at stake in this game, mathematically the Magpies could reach third place. However, they are much better this year, reliable, very good defence, very few defeats, while Chelsea are completely disjointed. The balance of power favours the visitors.
