Chengdu is not doing that well defensively. Chow and Kim also getting on the scoring sheet, two more foreign players from midfield but in defense they are quite poor especially when ahead in games.
They are 1-3-0 lately in the league, the win being one month ago against Qingdao Hainiu with 3-2 as they had the lead 2-0 at HT and in full control of the game, they conceded twice in the second half. They did not have same luck against Shandong Taishan, had the lead 2-1 going into added time, and Fellaini made it 2-2. Had the lead 2-0 with Changchun Yatai also at home with 10 minutes left to play, conceded two late goals and drew 2-2. Had the lead last round 1-0 and 2-1 at Wuhan, found themselves 3-2 down with minutes left to play, but found a 3-3 goal.
Shanghai Shenhua is a top team with several foreign players in attack, I mainly like Teixeira, but even former CFR Cluj striker Malele feels like a giant here alongside the small China born defenders. Last season they lost at Chengdu with 3-2, and I would not be surprised if both teams score 2+, so I trust over 3.5 goals at odds of 4.00 from BetVictor.
