Club America - Atlas:

Atlas faces two injury absentees in its opener against America in 2022 Liga BBVA MX Apertura tournament. 
Atlas weakened, club faced many disposals. 
Two-time champions Atlas begin their participation in Apertura 2022 tournament of BBVA MX League when they visit Águilas del América, with major absences. 
At monumental Azteca Stadium, Rojinegro team will begin its journey against one of Mexico's biggest clubs Club America, and after disappointing seasons club has reinforced itself in a timely manner. 
Most important absence for Atlas will be that of striker Julio Furch, who has undergone surgery and will be out for at least two weeks, he is their best striker.
It will undoubtedly be an important absence for La Furia, as 32-year-old Argentine is already recognised as a team legend, having defended Atlas jersey 48 times, scoring 17 goals and with seven assists.
Moreover, he is an indispensable partner of Julián Quiñones in Zorros' attack. 
Other player who will miss at least start against Águilas América is outfielder Diego Barbosa, who was injured during Supercopa MX match against Cruz Azul and had to leave game. 
Barbosa returned to city of Guadalajara with a bandaged ankle, and although Atlas has made no official announcement about injury, it seems unlikely that he will be available to Diego Cocca's coaching staff.
America is one of main contenders for title, and in its debut in front of its fans it will have whole team with its new signings. 
America's new team cannot start tournament with a defeat as they ended last season in the last round of Clausura against Pachuca. 
Not much to say, with a weakened Atlas, with two important absences, on Azteca soil we go with the victory of America, in front of its public, America fully reinforced is one of main candidates for title, first three points at debut to forget bad previous season.
