I'm backing the Stars to turn the tide in this series. They are currently trailing 2-0, with both games requiring overtime. In Game 2, the Stars had control of the match and held a lead with just two minutes remaining. However, the Knights managed to tie the game and ultimately win it in overtime. Now that the action shifts back to the Stars' home arena, I strongly believe they will step up and deliver a big performance. With their experience, they understand the importance of this game and can't afford to lose it. I won't be taking the moneyline bet since the odds are short, especially considering the Knights' two overtime victories.
While the Knights did what was expected of them by winning both of their home games, they didn't necessarily dominate the Stars. I believe they may lose their edge on the road, despite their strong performance during the regular season. Hill, as a third-choice goaltender, shouldn't have the upper hand over Oettinger, and now that Robertson is heating up, the Knights could face some challenges.
My clear preference is for the Stars to win this game in regulation. They are a solid team on home ice, and the urgency to win will highlight their experience and determination.
