I was disappointed with the Stars' performance in the previous round when I backed them to come back in the series, but they failed to even score a goal and ended up losing 4-0. Given their lack of offensive output, I'm not yet prepared to back them again. Although they outshot the Knights, the fact that they couldn't find the back of the net at home is concerning. Every game from now on is crucial, and the forwards have been rather hesitant. Instead, I will focus on Wyatt Johnston to provide offensive contributions, as he has consistently covered this line in the past four matches.
The Knights appear to be the superior team in this series, and I believe they will soon advance to the finals alongside the Panthers. Their offense has been sharp, and Hill has been impressive in goal, especially considering that all their first-choice goaltenders are injured. The defense has effectively neutralized the Stars' key players, prompting alternative players like Johnston to step up and contribute more shots as they strive to change the scoreline.
I won't be picking a side in this game. Instead, I'll be closely watching Wyatt Johnston, who has displayed a strong and aggressive presence. With Benn suspended due to his reckless head check, it seems that the defender will have even more at stake in his performance.
