Ludogorets have a late 1-0 victory from Bulgaria to lean on, when they go to Hungary (neutral ground) to face Dinamo Minsk.
Ludogorets have entered this season with a new manager, in Rui Mota. Who is Rui Mota? He is one of the most promising coaches in Eastern Europe in my view, formerly FC Dila manager in Georgia, who played amazing football. He then took over FC Noah and led them to a historic run in Armenia (and in Europe) and now he earned a move to Ludogorets with bigger resources. They have spent Money and are aiming to participate in either Champions or Europa League this season, and they are going to do it by controlling the play. I can see them being a positive surprise in the coming European season
The first leg at home, was very dominant, over 70% possession, 20 attempts (but only 4 on target), so it ended up being a inaccurate match for Ludogorets. A normal day it would be 3+ goals. For Dinamo Minsk, it was flattering to only lose by 1 goal.
Dinamo Minsk play their matches on neutral ground, so no "home advantage" to lean on. It is a team without any spending, only a minimal 50k spent. They have sold their main goal keeper to CSKA Sofia, and are sitting 4th place in the league, 10 points away from top position. The defending champions are not really entering the European competition with an ambitious purpose. Belarusian football is not a powerhouse, and neither is Dinamo Minsk. It consists of mainly domestic players, but can not really match up with the flair and finesse of teams like Ludogorets
Conclusion: Ludogorets were 1.30 favorites in Bulgaria, and narrowly won. I choose to look at the first result as a fluke, when the fixture now moves to neutral ground, the offer is 1.70 on Ludogorets, when in fact there is no home advantage. The odds might be 1.40 here in my view. At 1.70 I must take a shot given their dominating display last week. I think they will be rewarded more in this fixture. Minsk can not control the play with the ball, so this pick will most likely be entirely up to Ludogorets efficiency.
