Sramkova needs to win
Rebecca is not having the best of times, her last good result was in Nottingham, since then Wimbledon, Prague and even Montreal ended too soon for her. Especially the result in Montreal against McNally was not good at all when she lost twice 6:2.
Soon we have the US Open and if she wants to think about a better result, she needs a mental boost first, something that would kick her up and get her back to the form she had at the beginning of the year, for example.
Dolehide had a very solid tournament in Washington, but in Montreal she already finished in the first round. It is true that American players play a little better at tournaments in the USA, but she still doesn't seem like a favorite to me compared to Sramkova.
Rebecca play best tennis mainly on hard courts, where she can beat players like Andreeva in February of this year. I believe that she will set herself up for the match correctly and find her lost form.
