Ecuador U20 - Italy U20 (lost)

Ecuador backline seemed error-prone against Japan and that could of course be a problem. Italy lack some eligible star players like Moise Kean (who played in Euro U19 Finland) and the team seems more like a "Serie B Selection". However with similar kind of team Italy finished 3rd in the 2017 edition of this competition so maybe it is not as hastily prepared as it looks like.

Ecuador won South American Championship and I don´t think Italy are same level with Argentina or Uruguay above which both Ecuador finished.

To me the match between Mexico and Italy looked a match between 2 not so good teams so maybe also Japan can surprise Mexico today. Italy were very effective in Finland but are now maybe lacking that deciding edge (Moise Kean) so CONMEBOL champions should be able to get something out of this match.
