Saturday night we will witness another Battle for Alberta, where the Calgary Flames play against the Edmonton Oilers.
The Flames just broke a four-game loss streak on Tuesday, winning against the Florida Panthers, was 5-1.
These poor results mean they are now relegated to 5th place in the Pacific Division - and are fighting for a playoff spot. The Oilers are even worse, losing 7 matches in a row.
Both Flames and Oilers have been having trouble scoring points lately.
In the current 7-game loss streak, the Oilers have scored more than 3 goals in only two matches in a single game, while the Flames have averaged only 2.4 goals in their last 5 games.
The offensive in Edmonton isn't looking too good lately.
The Flames are too good, both in defense and in goal to allow many goals against the Oilers' stagnant offensive.
