Roland Garros - 1st round
I really cannot see this going in 3 sets for either player - fact is that Barrere is enough solid baseliner to challenge Emil here, AND with this french crowd behind him, this could get interesting... I still remember that 5 setter last year here with Emil against another frechie Humbert.
Both of these players picked up some form in pre-tournaments heading into Roland Garros - Emil beat Tiafoe, Bubdick and twice Humbert. Also solid 3 setter vs Carlos in Madrid. On the other hand Barrere was good in Rome where he won KK and Nakashima.
All and all I see good serving matchup, when both players can dictate the points from the baseline in their own service games, and Emil is really strong hitting baseliner!
