A bit of inflated odd giving the fact Joker droped some sets along the way while Felix had more 'clean' run. However, looking at the oponents, completely understandable. Straight set slaughter one after another, can not be expected from Djokovic at this age on Slams, mainly because he lacks matches and plays on strict selection. Nevertheless, he stil remains (in my eyes) 2nd favourite right after Sinner as long as we look at the paper, but I strongly believe he can put the Italian on some serious test like in AO. As far as I am concerned, players like FAA had never been threat to Djokovic simply because of their one-dimensional tennis without any strategical deployment. That might be enough to outhit lower ranked oponents and fatigued Fokina, but difficult to implement against a G.O.A.T.
Djokovic still hunts that 25th and quite realisticly RG this year was his best chance without Sinner or Alcaraz, but since Carlitos is still out, I see him very close to getting it. Motivation is not lacking, he enjoys his time on the court and the fact remains that he is the best player on grass from the entire ATP rooster which is currently active.
