4 Nations Face-Off
Well, both of these two teams NEED the win here, so I expect that to show in the "nature" of the game, and knowing how North Americans play at their "small ice" it's typical offense first- hockey!
Finland was good against Sweden, maybe Sweden "pushed" bit more in first two periods in offensive end, BUT we Finns played compact overall game, and were strong at finishing and deserved the win. Now the thing is that, there was LOT of good goalscoring chances in Finland vs Sweden game, and could have been more goals in the end. Lankinen was solid enough in goal for Finns, and I think that he will continue between the pipes. Our 1st PP unit showed their strenght in Sweden game, when we changed Barkie as the face-off taker instead of Aho, and straight away Rantanen scored from great pass from Laine! We play with 5 forwards that PP. Now Canadiens PP is also strong as hell, when there is Crosby, McDavid and MacKinnon in 1st PP unit, and oh boy those guys can make something happen :) Binnington has been the starting goalie for first two games for Team Canada, and he has "mediocre" statistics in those matches - like I said Canada's goalies are their "weak" part in their game, and maybe they change to Hill in this game.
I like goals in this matchup, when knowing what offense these two teams bring into the table and the nature of the game!
