I already wrote what I think about FAU in last week pick vs. Army. The offense seen so far is unpresentable with 17 points and 500 yards combined in the first two games without even looking at the other statistical entries and the opponents were not top teams of the league.
FIU is nothing special but in the first two weeks it has obtained two good results with an honorable defeat vs. Indiana (clearly superior level) and a blowout vs. Central Michigan not obvious scoring more than 50 points.
Until Florida Atlantic shows something better it cannot start as a favorite with anyone.
Pick against FAU more than in favor of FIU of which I objectively know little.
