I still cannot believe that France lost in Split 2:0. France has one of the best squads in the World, they're covered well on every position, they got so much talent within the team and they still couldn't do anything against veterans Modric and Perisic. They only dominated in the last 30 minutes, but it was not enough to break Croatian defense.
Croatia has 5-6 world class players and 5-6 average players in the first 11. Modric is still their leader, but Perisic is also like 10 years younger. Kovacic brings stability in the midfield, while Sutalo and Gvardiol are the key defenders. Croatia has not so many options as France. They are fanatics, they always give 110% for the national team and that's why they're successful and they're among the top teams in the World, no matter that their squads are not as strong as some other teams that struggle to do something exceptional like Belgium for example. Zlatko Dalic is amazing coach and he's the creator of this team.
With all the respect for Croatia, but here I expect the quality to prevail. France can even get some help from the referees because it's common thing. All we remember that handball from Henry when Ireland were eliminated. Now I expect France to break Croatia's defense in the first half and to lead this match into overtime.
