This France vs Morocco match has the feel of a big game, but not necessarily an open one. It is a repeat of the 2022 semi-final, only this time Morocco arrive with greater status, more maturity and once again the ability to compete against top national teams.

The problem is that against France they should have less space, less of the ball and possibly less attacking presence if Saibari does not recover.
Because of the quarter-final context, Morocco’s competitive profile and France’s game management, i believe this will point more towards a patient match than an open exchange.
