I played the same bet on Molde against Kristiansund, and it didn’t go particularly well. We got 1.87, while the market closed around 1.65. Molde won the shot count 30–1, corners 10–1 and xG 3.14–1.04. Was it a good bet in hindsight, even though the result didn’t go our way? They controlled the game throughout the entire second half and deservedly won. We should also remember that Start were much better than KBK when the two teams met in Kristiansund. The Eliteserien is a league where home advantage is quite significant, with home teams winning almost 50% of matches. I give Fredrikstad almost a 55% chance of winning, which corresponds to fair odds of around 1.82. That makes this a solid value bet. You’re unlikely to get this odds at kickoff on Sunday. Local bookmaker Norsk Tipping, for example, are only offering 1.75.
