Last season Gaziantep fought hard to avoid relegation but had a really good ending to the the campaign. This season they are much stronger, here at home right now they have no less than 9 wins in a row, as they won 3 games here in the Turkish Cup and no less than 6 wins in a row in the league at home as well, some of those games against opponents stronger than newly promoted Bodrumspor.
The guests are not doing great at all in defense, drew 4-4 at a lower league side in the Cup, losing 5 games in a row in the Turkish top league on the road right now, as they are a mere relegation candidate, while Gaziantep can think about an European spot for next season given the excellent form they have in the past 3 months, and especially here at home they are a stronghold.
