I was hoping to see some over money moves this line a little bit up and then to jump on under but seems it's not gonna happen, so who likes Under would need to use this current 45.5 or in best case 46 pts line for much juice.
At the end what I have opted for, was first half under. My thoughts on this, I want to avoid some possible late garbage pts if by some case the game is already decided, and more like, I don't want to some late miracle by Aaron Rogers ruins the under bet. And we saw many times for what he is capable late in the games when his team need it. So, IMO under first half is a little bit more safe than full time under.
But why under at first place?
Green Bay is great offense but now after long time they need to meet elite defense. So it's very possible this won't be all smoth for them. Fact that defensive tackle, Aaron Donald is removed from the Rams' injury report, is going in favour of another good defensive performance by the LA team.
To be honest, exactly the defense brought the win for the LA Rams in Seattle, not the offense and QB Jared Goff.
When speaking about Rams' QB, lot of trouble there.
Jared Goff obviously is not 100% ready after thumb surgery that he had on the throwing hand. Cause you don't start with a backup QB in the playoffs if your first choice is at least 70% ready to play, especially you don't go with a backup when that backup quarterback in that moment has only one game in NFL. I'm referring to the John Wolford who has started in Seattle. But after his early injury in that game, Goff had to go in after all.
John Wolford is out today, so Jared Goff it is this time from the very first minute. He was pretty modest in the mentioned game in Seattle. What was especially worrying if you are Rams' fan, was the fact that from all those incomplete passes, many weren't even close. So, IMO it's more likely we are going to see much more running than passing game from the Rams this time and that's always good for Under bettors.
To conclude, I don't expect good offense here from the road team (even less on a cold weather which by any means doesn't suit to Goff), but I hope their defense should keep them close in this match and also that defense should help this Under bet.
