The odds for this game are very interesting as some sites have it as an almost 50/50 game with Skybet having the Halifax DNB at Evens whilst others like Pinnacle have it at 1.675 (there is actually arbitrage opportunities with sites having Chesterfield DNB at 2.15)! In my opinion I am more in agreement with the Pinnacle odds and have to play Halifax at these odds on skybet. Halifax beat Chesterfield 2-0 at home a month ago and come in to this game with much better form than their opponent. Chesterfield ended the season with just 1 point from final 4 games and only scoring 2 goals, and away from home they have just 1 win in last 9 games which came at 16th place Wealdstone. In 2022 Chesterfield have struggled against the other top sides in league, losing to likes of Wrexham, Solihull Moors, Stockport, Grimsby, and Dagenham - their poor form coinciding with some key players being injured such as top scorer Tshimanga (injured since 12th Feb) and key creative midfielder Jack Clarke (not featured in 2022). Halifax meanwhile have lost just 1 out of 13 home games in 2022, winning 10 of them so are a formidable outfit on home turf and just don't see them losing in normal time.
