Hearts - Rangers    (lost)

The stakes could not be higher than this. Hearts currently lead the table with 73 points, while Rangers sit in third with 69. Having watched both teams this season, I believe Rangers possess an immense offensive power that can dismantle any defense in the league. Their recent 6-3 demolition of Falkirk and a 4-2 victory over Dundee United highlights this. However, I have also noticed they are prone to lapses in concentration, evidenced by their surprising 3-2 loss to Motherwell just last week.  Hearts enter this match in good form, recently securing a vital 2-1 win over Hibernian to maintain their top spot. However, I believe if they cannot match Rangers' blistering pace from the outset, they risk losing not only this game but also the opportunity to consolidate their historic position. I think that Hearts will find the net at least once given Rangers' recent habit of conceding while chasing games and the home team factor. I think the enthusiasm at Tynecastle will be at high levels, driving both teams forward. While my opinion is that Rangers’ superior depth should see them prevail, I expect them to concede in the process. When you combine Rangers' scoring record with Hearts' desperation to secure a first title since 1960, a high-scoring encounter exceeding 3.5 goals is highly probable. I do not see Hearts well if they do not keep up the pace and score some. I like the odds here this is definetly not a prudent game.
