Jeanmonnot is the clear favourite after her sprint win on Friday. She starts first and with a gap that could be enough. The Frenchwoman looks strong both on the tracks and at the shooting range, so it’s in her hands.
From the rest, I like Kirkeeide, Magnusson and Bened for today, and they can be considered for top 3, top 6 or top 10 respectively at interesting odds:
- Maren Kirkeeide has been improving race after race. In Östersund she finished 12th, 7th and 5th in her three starts, then made the top 3 in Hochfilzen. It looks like she’s improving her standing shooting, which caused her more problems in previous seasons.
- Anna Magnusson has taken a big step forward this season. In past years her results were more mediocre, but this season she comes in with three consecutive top 3 finishes. She’s strong on the tracks, yesterday in the relays she opened the scoring for Sweden, and her shooting accuracy is around 95%.
- Camille Bened starts in 6th position. I think if the Frenchwoman keeps her shooting efficiency she can finish in the top 10 or even hold her position. So far she has missed only one shot, with an accuracy of 98.3%, and she could surprise today.
Wierer, Voigt, etc. are coming from behind, but I prefer these three for the different placing markets.
My main pick here is Magnusson top 6, though I also like Bened top 10 and Kirkeeide top 6.
