The Draw is wide open and ranking wise Zverev will have his once on a lifetime shot to really complete his dream and win a GRAND SLAM. Alcaraz did not participate and SINNER, who destroyed Zverev the last meetings are no longer in the picture, so the pressure increases towards the German. Zverev played so far a really solid tournament and went through the rounds pretty comfortable from the bare results, BUT the heat will get more on him once he sees the finish line and even though he adapted his playing style a bit more aggressive and not just waiting of opponents to miss, once its getting tight he falls back to his old style and there he always finds a way to mess up and other players just want it more and take a shot. Zverev was down 0-3 versus limited de Jong and even 2-5 versus  clear better jodar yesterday and looked helpless, then those players could not finish the job, now with MENSIK I am very confident that JAKUB will take what is being offered. First of all he has the big Game to hurt Zverev and go for the shots. Also big serve, massive FH and always trying to WIN the points rather than not losing them. He was already done in Rd 2 versus Navone  winning it with pure will 7/6 in 5th set and not able to leave the court due to exhaustion. So when you thought he is done and reached his physical limits BUT he showed them that he is Champion material, he recovered and even after dropping the next set 0/6 to a decent player like De Minaur he came out on top winning the next 3 sets. Next round he almost wasted a 2-0 set lead versus Rublev, finding again a way to overcome the tiredness and beating him in 5 sets. Yesterday he saved energy beating dark horse favorite Fonseca in straight sets. Having now an extra day of rest will help him recover huge. Weather conditions will help him huge and a Zverev that has a lot to lose will help him huge. H2H they played this year in Madrid and Zverev won a close one in 3 sets. Important that MENSIK took a TIEBREAK from Zverev, who feels here very confident when reaching TB is I think 26 out of last 28 TB WON, BUT this MENSIK just keeps coming at you and maybe even will get a way leading TB or two from Zverev. Odds for Zverev are insanly low, considering all the facts I really like MENSIKS chances here and sadly for German tennis Zverev will continue his chase to become a GRAND SLAM champion and most likely has to admit that he is a very good tennis player but does not have the pure Champion pedigree, despite winning Olympic Gold and ATP Masters Finals of Top8, this is different and this will end in JAKUB MENSIK WIN to book his place in his first ever Grand Slam FINAL......
