I have played against Rosenborg a few times now with success, and after doing the analysis I now choose to bet on Rosenborg!
Let's look at some factors:
The odds: 2.37 is clearly higher than the rest of the market.
Rosenborg: They have performed poorly and mostly had bad results away from home since Nypan and Broholm left, but it has usually been on artificial turf. In the one away game on grass – and also at home against good teams like Bodø/Glimt, Mainz, Viking and Hammarby – they have performed well. Now they will play on grass again, and I think that is an important point here.
Bryne: There has been some internal strife in the club, but they have still performed well in most of the games. This will certainly not be an easy game for Rosenborg, but I still see them as favorites here – especially on grass.
Top scorer Bojadzic is out for Bryne, and that is an important absence.
