We have a direct clash for second place in Group E.
Both teams met in the first match: Turkey went 3-0 up, but after Yilmaz was sent off, the Georgians almost came back. It ended 3-2, with Kvaratskhelia and Mikautadze creating many scoring chances.
Turkey have a very strong attack with players who are very capable of scoring (Yilmaz, Güler, Yıldız, Aktürkoglu), but their midfield loses too many balls (Çalhanoğlu, Kökçü) and their defense is not solid at all. I remember the match against Spain where the Turkish defenders and midfielders were very weak. And if we also add goalkeeper Çakir—he is capable of great performances, but also simply poor ones.
After their first match against Turkey, Georgia beat Bulgaria 3-0 (Kvaratskhelia, Gagnidze, Mikautadze) and lost 2-0 to Spain in a match where they were unable to create play. They have a great goalkeeper like Mamardashvili and their big stars Kvaratskhelia and Mikautadze. In addition, today they recover Lochoshvili.
Turkey seem like the better team, but I find it difficult to believe they can maintain their scoring ability today. Georgia will set up a complicated match and I am sure they will have chances to fight for the three points. Seeing the defensive problems Turkey have shown, I am almost certain that Georgia will score at least one goal.
