Slovan Liberec - Viktoria Plzen (won)

Liberec made a terrible performance last week in Brno, their defence was hopeless and very fortunate not to concede more than one goal. And what is worse for them, according to their recent lack of inform attackers, they werent able to develope any pressure in front. Their players seem to be far from the confidence they used to have a year or two ago and their play is a big chaos.

On the other hand, Plzen finally seems that they could make something out of their solid squad (mostly former Sparta and Banik players). Last week they faced strong Ostrava and played really well, in the end it was hard fought draw for the guests. Their coach Vrba has always been trying to make his team play agressively, with particular focus on attacking. But the team hasn’t been organized enough so far, to grab a win even in matches, when they were much better side. I think that they are not in their top shape yet and in matches with classy opponents they will meet their old headaches. But Liberec in current form is something they should be pretty able to cope with, or at least I don’t believe they can lose there.
