A game from the I-League, Lajong is newly promoted after several seasons in the 2nd league level, they have played here before, last season in the 2nd league they were not perfect in defense at home often conceding, but very good at scoring goals, and the main reason why they promoted. They have two of the best players in the league by far, playmaker Edu Bedia, former Bacelona youth player, great passing play, striker Alex Sanchez is in great form, scoring no less than 8 goals in his side's opening 4 league games. He scored twice in the opening 16 minutes last round as they played away at TRAU FC, should have conceded and scored more goals, but the game was frozen after the Gokulam keeper received a red card, and he will now miss this game, even better chances for Lajong to score here as Gokulam usually starts with 3 Spanish players, Edu Bedia, Alex Sanchez, Nili in center of midfield, and Tursunov up-front on the wing as well, all quality players, but they were easily broken in defense in the first half by TRAU last round on the road, their keeper bailed them out, but now he is missing.
Gokulam won 4-1 with NEROCA, 5-0 with Rajasthan Utd at home, drew 2-2 at home with Inter Kashi and that 2-0 win with TRAU last round, scoring every time in the first half. I am keeping things simple here and shall back 2 goals scored from the first half.
