Lion City ended the season really poorly, finished just 2nd in the league losing touch with the title winners from Albirex Niigata after losing 4-2 at home with them. They could not get past the group stage of the Singapore Cup as they drew with 2nd from bottom in the league, Balestier 3-3 at home, that side losing in the Semis 8-1 with Tampines, and they also drew with bottom of the league Young Lions just 1-1 who are really modest side without any foreign players and full of youngsters.
I do not have to tell that the league level in Singapore is really low, Albirex keeps on selling their best players and still win the title season after season mainly due to better tactics. Dortmund of course missing players, the pitch is fine, the game is played at Lion City stadium, but it should be a huge win from Dortmund here, and I do not really expect LIon City to score, but I do expect them to crack in defense, miserable defensive record from them even for Singapore league standards in this ending of the season, so over 7.5 goals, miserable month from me, so what do I have to lose, huge difference in terms of quality between German football and Singaporean football.
