Lokomotiv Moscow - Zenit St Peterburg    (won)

A classic derby in Russia between Lokomotiv M and Zenit. Action starts at 3 pm CET.

League runner-up Loko M had e decent start this season with 2 wins and a draw, played a solid first half leading 1:0 against local rival Spartak M and then something in their game broke. They managed to lose that game 1:2 and suffered a shocking 2:3 home defeat from Akhmat, although controlling the game and creating more chances. I’d expect the team to get back on track and not lose that important meeting with the champions. Third game in a row without getting a point would be too much for Lokomotiv’s 1^st place ambition, so I think they should get together. No important missings in the team. 

Zenit are playing good currently, won 4 and lost 1 to ambitious Dynamo in Moscow. Key player in the middle Wilmar Barrios is suspended and will miss the match on Sunday. Zenit form looks pretty solid, but visiting Moscow teams has never been an easy task. They’ve only managed to win 1 in the last 5 away games to Lokomotiv.

No doubt this could go both ways, it’s a triple game – but I believe Loko has the arguments to get at least a point from the champs, so Lokomotiv Moscow Double Chance @ 2.10 gives a good chance to double the bet.
